Set in the vibrant heart of Kuta Lombok, the villas of The Konkret redefines luxury with a deep reverence for Sasak culture and architecture. Drawing inspiration from Lombok’s traditional Sasak homes, our design is a tribute to the practicality and simplicity of Sasak structures, merging the rustic charm of concrete and alang-alang with lush greenery and natural light, allowing the jungle to extend into each villa.    

Our journey began by observing the architectural evolution in Lombok’s villages, where the use of concrete foundations is valued for its durability and natural heat insulation, ensuring comfort in the tropical climate. Alang-alang, with its lightweight structure and natural ventilation, complements this perfectly, making it ideal for the island’s warm and humid environment. 

In each villa, every item has been carefully selected to reflect the rich tradition of Lombok. From cutlery and toiletries to towel baskets and fabrics, these authentic Sasak pieces not only enhance the decor but also support the local economy.
